Kingdom Christian Academy opened its door in the fall of 2007 as a private Christian school for Pre-Kindergarten – age four – through sixth grade students. To address the need for a middle school program, KCA added seventh and eighth grades the following year, 2008. As the enrollment continued to increase in the early childhood classes, there was a need to grow our Pre-Kindergarten program; thus, a Pre-K3 class was added to the Academy. KCA currently enrolls students in Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Fifth Grade.

Our philosophy of education is based on what we believe about children and learning. All children can learn when given the opportunity to create knowledge and understanding of concepts and skills taught in their “language”, or learning style; and, when their teacher has high expectations of him/her. When learning is meaningful, children can apply their new knowledge to real world situations; thereby, demonstrating what has been taught.
Providing a superior education built on leadership principles is our main focus. We are committed to partnering with our families to assist in educating children through a Christ-centered, bible-based environment, with a challenging curriculum. The A Beka and ACSI (Purposeful Design) are research based curriculums which provide lessons and activities that allow our teachers to address the Core State Standards. They also prepare our students for the TerraNova3 Standardized Test that is administered at KCA annually. Many of our students continue to achieve national ranking scores on this test each year.
Excellence in academics is the standard here at KCA and our staff is dedicated to integrating leadership principles and skills in the curriculum to develop our students into problem solvers with strong critical thinking abilities. These skills are fostered through teaching a leadership model from the book “The Leader in Me”. This model was inspired by Steven Covey’s, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. We have created a school culture here at KCA that incorporates these seven habits.
In addition, this model promotes creativity, team building, goal setting and tracking, as well as responsibility and building self-esteem. At KCA we strive to develop students’ full potential, with a self-confidence that enables them to take the initiative to stand out as leaders in their home, school, church and community.
What one values drives ACTIONS. This is the heart of what we’re about at Kingdom Christian Academy. If we can help a student frame a Biblical core of beliefs, then we can provide a powerful frame of values for life and preparation to excel in any field. We believe that providing an atmosphere based on Biblical principles is vital to sustaining a healthy future.
